Job Description:

Sequence is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the corporate and technical operations of one of the state’s leading environmental / natural resources consulting firms.

The ideal individual would have a minimum of 8+ years of technical experience working within an environmental, engineering and/or planning organizational environment; with at least 5+ years of experience in a supervisory and/or management role conducting business development activities and overseeing all operations for a group or regional territory.

The Regional Manager will be given the responsibilities for overseeing all operations in the San Francisco Bay Area territory; which will include conducting and assuring business development and revenue objectives are met, overseeing technical projects as related to air, water, energy, cultural resources, community development, and biological resources; developing proposals, establishing and maintaining schedules, budgetary controls and scopes of work. Additional responsibilities will include managing regional personnel, mentoring project managers, and providing oversight to regional office operations.

Reporting directly to the organizations CEO and COO, the regional manager will additionally participate in developing and fostering along the overall strategic vision for the organization. Participating in quarterly meetings, establishing corporate wide goals and directives, developing operating policies / procedures, and aiding in the continued success and shared vision of the firm.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Urban/Environmental Planning, Biology or a related discipline. MBA preferred. AICP desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Position can be based in either San Francisco or Oakland, California.
