Job Description:

Sequence is seeking a Senior Archaeologist to work on a portfolio of CEQA / NEPA compliance projects related to energy (i.e. solar, wind, geothermal, transmission, etc.) throughout the California inland valleys and desert communities.

The ideal individual would have 5+ years of experience working in an archaeological consulting environment related to all aspects of historic and pre-historic cultural resources management and archaeology. This would include conducting historical and field research, collecting data, and analyzing results for regulatory and agency presentations / technical reports.

Candidates must have experience in leading all aspects of the cultural resource project life cycle; from planning, field research to final assembly of documents. Experience working in the California inland valleys and desert communities a plus to consideration; must have extensive knowledge of NEPA/CEQA, Section 106, National Historic Preservation Act, Sacred Lands file checks, archaeological state and federal resource regulations is required.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Archaeology, Cultural Resources or related discipline. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Professional Archaeologist Registration (RPA) desired.

Individuals with strong client management and business development capabilities will be given priority consideration.
