Job Description:

Sequence is seeking a Sales, Business Development Associated that is eager, highly motivated and interested in the growing an environmental/global climate change practice group in the Northeast.

The ideal individual would have at least 4+ years experience working in a sales environment, generating/following-up on leads, developing marketing strategies and qualifying prospects for senior executive staff to follow-up on.

As the Sales Specialist you will call Fortune 500 companies throughout North America and initiate conversation with decision-makers to introduce service offerings, educate them on their value-added proposition, ask questions/obtain key information about their business, and qualify their sales potential. When you have identified a sales-ready/qualified lead, you will pass it along to the sales team to close the sales cycle.

You will work directly with the Senior Scientific Staff to identify and develop new clients, build valuable relationships and support strategic plans for the company’s expansion into the North American market. This is a high-demanding position with one of the world’s largest international environmental information and management consulting firms and offers exceptional financial rewards for the successful candidate.

Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science or related discipline. Abilities to work independently; Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Individuals with Environmental, Finance, Software or Technology Sales experience will be given priority consideration.
