Job Description:

Sequence is seeking a Construction Project Engineer (Engineering Technician) to oversee and assist with reconstruction projects throughout the country of Haiti.

The ideal individual would have at least 4+ years of experience working on military construction projects ranging from residential housing, commercial structures, and institutional facilities. Must have a strong understanding of the build and design/build process, abilities to review bid submittals, conduct contractor quality control inspections, oversee construction, and act as the direct point of contact for all aspects of a projects life cycle. Strong understanding of RFI’s, Submittals, Change Orders, Budgeting required. Understanding of crane and lifting techniques desired.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Construction Management. CQC certification desired. Must have strong written and verbal communication abilities.

The opportunity is for a one year contract working in Haiti full-time. Options to renew contract for additional 1 year terms possible. Position requires extensive travel throughout the country and remote living / housing will be required in some instances.
