Job Description:

Sequence is seeking a senior level Civil / Geotechnical Engineer to lead a portfolio of Civil / Geotechnical projects for an expanding engineering / construction firm specifically focused on water related projects throughout the western U.S. and the South Pacific.

The ideal individual would have 8 + years of experience managing civil and geotechnical engineering projects revolving around flood control, dams, levees, and pipeline projects. Must have experience in managing all aspects of a project life-cycle, including developing scopes of work, contract specifications, engineering designs / calculations, cost estimates, construction documents and monitoring / inspection of construction activities. Technical expertise in performing geotechnical site analysis and impact assessments for new and existing structures is required.

Additional responsibilities will include supervising office, field and laboratory staff as necessary. Conducting business development and client relations activities, as well as, interacting with government agencies (California Department of Water Resources, US Bureau of Reclamation, CALFED, and The Us Corp of Engineers) on a regular basis.

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; MS Degree desired. Must be a California Registered Professional Engineer (PE). Excellent written and verbal communication abilities required.

This opportunity may require travel to locations within the pacific region to conduct site assessments and investigations.
